Two of our favourite and very talented cameramen from Australia, Nathan Kaso and Joshua Mikhaiel popped on over the ditch to New Zealand last week to create an elopement style inspiration shoot in the South Island of New Zealand. We are in love with the magical way the duo captured this couple and the dramatic New Zealand landscape.
Words from Nathan Kaso – Josh and I travelled to the South Island of New Zealand to capture a small piece of elopement inspiration in New Zealand’s stunning mountain landscape.

After flying into Christchurch we travelled along the West Coast Road, stopping at an abandoned farm house near Sheffield for some last minute preparations, before heading up into the mountains for some intimate vows at Castle Hill. We chose this location to showcase the amazing New Zealand landscape and show that you do not need to travel to the well known locations such as Queenstown and Wanaka to capture amazing alpine scenery, and that these experiences are possible for couples from all parts of New Zealand.

We used a real couple, Georgina and Will, who are getting married later this year. This ensured there was a true connection and emotion between the two on camera.
