Atelier Wu bride jets off to Manhattan this season. Strolling down 8th Avenue and soaking in the city life from the quintessential NYC rooftop. Creative Director Jessica Wu, explains why, and what makes Atelier Wu bride special.

8th Avenue is the new and highly anticipated Atelier Wu collection. Third full collection of the luxury bridal sister label Jessica Couture.

Shot high on a rooftop in New York City, 8th Avenue derives its name from the street it was shot on, along with chic designs that perfectly complement the city’s skyline and one of the fashion capitals of the world.

8th Avenue is a perfect blend of glamour, minimalism and style, the collection has its own take on classic silhouettes putting its own twist on each using luxury fabrics, novel accessories and accentuating high fashion trends. A collection that blends Avant garde with classic glamour. The embellishment of the gowns is elevated to achieve maximum artistry.

Key looks: Scarlett, the head turning beaded jumpsuit, tailored peplum sleeveless jacket adds drama to the gold sequined Silvia, ethereal Sansa with her delicate textured lace, flirty Sonja with the thigh high slit will leave your heart racing, and the long sleeve beauty Samira is pure haute glamour.

For the 8th collection, the design team continues to source the finest laces from Europe, crepe, lush organza, and handmade crystal beads from India.

Jessica comments: “As Auckland went into another lockdown, we decided to take advantage of technology and our global connections and flew our dresses to New York – just because we can’t fly doesn’t mean our dresses can’t!”

8th Avenue Collection is made for a bride who wishes to express her unique personality, for those who cherish high-end fashion and feel the most confident in the spotlight.

The collection is available on our trunk show tour from February 4, 2022
