What inspired Rippon Hall to become a wedding venue, and how do you ensure each couple’s day is truly special?
Rippon Hall was designed with celebrations in mind, making it the perfect venue for weddings. We pride ourselves on offering a professional yet personable experience, ensuring that every detail is taken care of for a seamless and stress-free journey leading up to your special day. To further enhance your experience, we offer a complimentary private wine tasting one week before your wedding, allowing you to select your favourite Rippon wines to serve to your guests.
How does Rippon Hall accommodate weddings in terms of both indoor and outdoor spaces, and what are the best locations for ceremonies?
We have a spacious outdoor ceremony area, which overlooks an uninterrupted view of Ruby Island and the surrounding mountains and Rippon’s vines. Our indoor ceremony area has a beautiful roaring fire at the centre of Rippon Hall, an arching ceiling and a picture window which offers the perfect place to position yourselves for your vows.
Can couples host both their ceremony and reception at Rippon Hall? If so, how do you ensure a smooth transition between the two?
As a dry hire venue, we provide excellent flexibility, allowing you to customise the flow of your event to suit your vision. Many of our clients choose to set up dining in the marquee area, host dancing in the main hall, and hold the ceremony in the outdoor space, creating a seamless and memorable experience for all.
How flexible is Rippon Hall with regard to personalised wedding decor, themes, and styling preferences?
Rippon is a dry hire venue; therefore, we welcome your creativity, and we love seeing couples’ individual styles!
What types of catering options are available at Rippon Hall, and can couples customise the menu to suit their tastes or dietary preferences?
We have a group of trusted caterers, whom you need to select if you would like to hold your wedding at Rippon. All of our suppliers can create a dining menu that reflects your personalised tastes.
What packages or services do you offer to couples, and how can Rippon Hall help with coordination or planning throughout the process?
At this stage, we have a One Day, Two Day, Ceremony and Elopement Package bookable until June 2026. Between July to September, we have an in-house catering team that runs a restaurant at Rippon, providing winter wedding packages. Our 2026/2027 season packages will be available come May 2025.
Can Rippon Hall accommodate weddings during the off-season, and do you offer any special incentives or benefits for couples choosing those months?
Rippon is available to book all year round! However, our offering changes between July to September, where we have an in-house catering team, Raspberry Creek, that operates a restaurant in Rippon and provides winter wedding packages at a competitive rate.
