Tell us a little about yourselves, what you do, what you love…
Sawyer and I met 10 years ago in college when we were both campus tour guides — and from the very beginning, something just clicked. After graduation, we moved to New York City and built a life we truly loved, soaking up every corner of it together. Sawyer works in sports, and I began my career in fashion before recently transitioning into finance. We have a big, wonderful circle of friends, and travel has always been at the heart of our relationship — experiencing new places side by side is our favourite thing.
How/where/when did you meet – and what were your first impressions?
We met in college through our campus tour guide program. My first impression of Sawyer was that he was so cute and had this incredible ability to light up any room. People are instantly drawn to his warmth and life-of-the-party energy — I certainly was. His first impression of me? “Wow, I’m going to marry this girl however I can.”

What styling and visual elements worked best for you? (could be things, the florals, particular hire products or your marquee, etc., something the stylist created or simply just the scenic beauty of your location or the existing design of your venue).
We really wanted the venue to speak for itself. For many of our guests, it was their first time in Mallorca, and everyone embraced the weekend as a vacation with us. The natural beauty was breathtaking — the mountains, the historic stonework, the lush gardens of the château — it felt romantic without us having to add much at all. With perfect weather, the setting truly shone.
Stylistically, I gravitated toward rich greens with a subtle retro flair. Our save-the-date was collage-inspired, blending timeless New York style with vintage Mallorca charm. That balance of old-world romance and personal nostalgia anchored all of our design decisions.
What did you enjoy most about the planning process, and do you have any tips for couples starting their wedding planning journey?
We genuinely loved planning. Sawyer works in high-profile sporting events and grew up around concert production, so event logistics come naturally to him. Pairing his organisational mind with my love for creative direction made the entire process feel like something we were building together. I always joke that I miss having our “project.”My biggest advice is to divide and trust. Of course, both voices matter — but I led style decisions, and he led logistics. Having that clarity made everything smooth and surprisingly fun.

Tell us about your vendors. Were there any standout suppliers you would like to make special mention of?
Our vendors truly made the wedding unforgettable, but our photographer, Emma Wilder, was beyond special to us. We genuinely don’t have enough words to describe how much we loved working with her. From the very beginning, she felt like a friend — calm, warm, and completely in sync with us. She captured every moment so beautifully and effortlessly, and somehow managed to make everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. Our guests adored her. I can’t even tell you how many holiday cards featured her photos that year. She exceeded every expectation, and having her work to relive the day is the greatest gift. Our planner, Becca at Wonderlust Events, was equally incredible. She brought everything together seamlessly and handled every detail with such grace and professionalism. We trusted her completely, and she made the entire experience feel easy and joyful. We truly loved working with her.
Tell us about your main outfits, what was unique, and is there a story?
I found both my wedding dress and after-party dress at Mark Ingram Atelier in New York City. My mom and I had a few appointments that day, and Mark Ingram was our final stop — the experience was pure luxury. I showed my stylist a few inspiration photos, and he came back with the exact dress from my vision board. The moment I put it on, we both just knew. It truly felt right — which is funny, because I always thought people made that up. My second dress was an Ines Di Santo design exclusive to Mark Ingram. I knew I wanted feathers for the after-party, and it was perfect. Sawyer took just as much pride in his looks. He had two custom suits made by P.Johnson Tailors in New York City. He even brought his grandfather to the fittings — his grandfather once owned a men’s tailoring store — which made the whole experience incredibly special and full circle.

Tell us about your wedding and engagement rings.
Sawyer designed both my engagement ring and band with The Clear Cut in New York. Inside our bands, we engraved “too good to be true,” a line from our first dance song by Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons — a little detail that means so much to us.
What were one or two elements that were most important to you both that you were happy to spend a little more on? (food, photography, florals, the venue, your outfits?)
Photography and food — without question.

Was there a favourite moment (or two) that you will treasure always?
Reading our handwritten vows in front of our family and friends and absolutely bawling — in the best possible way.
What does being married mean to you, and are there any special rituals you have that you would like to share?
Being married feels like choosing each other every single day — but now with a deeper sense of permanence and partnership. It’s knowing you have your person in every season of life. We don’t have elaborate rituals, but we prioritise dinner together whenever we’re in the same city — no phones, just us — which feels especially meaningful after such a season of planning and celebration.
