We envisioned an intimate farm wedding that felt effortless and grounded in love

Tell us a little about yourselves, what you do, what you love…

Just two people in love. <3

Tell us about the vision you had for the mood and style of your wedding. (theme, key styling elements, florals, colour palettes etc.).

We wanted our wedding to feel organic and completely us, with the focus always on the love between the people we hold closest and us. We envisioned an intimate farm wedding that felt effortless and grounded in love, with a sunset ceremony in the fields and a candlelit dinner under the night sky. Nature itself guided the palette, and everything fell into place in the most meaningful and magical way.

What styling and visual elements worked best for you? (could be things, the florals, particular hire products or your marquee, etc., something the stylist created or simply just the scenic beauty of your location or the existing design of your venue).

We kept the styling very simple and true to the farm—one long table set in the middle of the field, surrounded by nature. There was something so natural about choosing a country farm for our wedding day—a place woven into the story of our relationship, where so many of our earliest memories were made, and our love grew. We wanted to honour that by keeping things sentimental. Everything felt personal and thoughtfully woven in by the people we love, including the bride’s bouquet made by a dear friend of long-stem calla lilies that felt timeless and elegant. Candlelight ran the full length of the table so the stars could dance above us. It all felt like a dream soft, romantic, and deeply connected to us.

What did you enjoy most about the planning process, and do you have any tips for couples starting their wedding planning journey?

We both loved the process of just planning together, creating something that felt like us, and having our family and friends be a part of it as well. Our advice would be to JUST HAVE FUN, and don’t get too caught up in the small details. In the end, that day goes by so fast, but what stays with you is the feeling of marrying your best friend. We wouldn’t change one single thing; it was everything we dreamed of.

Tell us about your vendors. Were there any standout suppliers you would like to make special mention of?

Our photographer, Kayl, was truly a gift from the beginning; we immediately connected and felt completely at ease with her. She understood our vision so effortlessly and captured our love in its most honest and intimate form. Every photo feels like a time capsule capturing exactly how it felt to be so deeply in love and surrounded by the people who mean the most to us.

My dear friends at Rocio. G, who created my after-party dress, always designs the most unique and cool pieces. I always knew I wanted them to create my after look for me, and it felt so special that they were part of this moment. In their showroom, they had the most beautiful blush-toned fabric, and as they began draping and playing with it, the dress instantly came to life. I loved the idea of stepping away from traditional white for the after look and into something unexpected and completely one-of-a-kind, and they created just that and more.

We’re also incredibly grateful to all of our vendors, each of whom brought so much care, creativity, and heart to the celebration. They helped turn our vision into something even more beautiful than we could have imagined. Thank you <3

Tell us about your main outfits, what was unique, and is there a story?

The wedding gown was a custom design by Ines Duggan. I wanted something that felt unique to me while still being timeless, romantic, and ethereal. Inspired by my love of vintage, the process began with a piece of vintage handmade lace as the bodice, and everything unfolded from there. My inspiration was an homage to my late grandmother Beatriz as well as my Spanish roots. The gown was worn with a vintage rosary wrapped around my bouquet as my something borrowed—a quiet, meaningful detail that connected where I come from to this moment. The process with Ines felt less like designing a dress and more like being part of a memory unfolding. The dress truly felt like a love letter—like poetry in motion.

Was there a favourite moment (or two) that you will treasure always?

Right after the ceremony, we walked down the aisle into our getaway car and drove off to a quiet spot on the farm, just the two of us (plus our other half, our dog Kiwi). We looked at each other and let all that love sink in; the world seemed to go quiet, and for a moment it was just us. It was one of the most special

What does being married mean to you, and are there any special rituals you have that you would like to share?

To us, it means choosing each other again and again in the quiet, in the chaos, and in everything in between. It’s a life built not just on love, but on deep friendship, on laughter, and on always finding our way back to each other. We’ve been through our highest highs and our lowest lows together, and it’s all made us softer, closer, and more certain. At the centre of it all is something simple: we are best friends, completely in love, and that’s what makes everything feel like home.
