Playing in my studio one afternoon creating strictly-this-palette-only-thanks wedding bouquets, I felt compelled to put together something unusual and bright.
Bringing together fuchsia peonies and sweet peas and teaming them with playful bright poppies made for a Mexican-hued bouquet full of fun.
I love the way poppy stems have a mind of their own, and matched with the wispy sweet pea tendrils, crinkly poppy petals and the endless ruffles of the peony, it’s textural and a little bit crazy.
I tied it off with Silk & Willow ribbon in blush – these plant-dyed silks are the perfect polish to any bouquet.
