I wanted to create a simple bouquet only using a few flowers.  Limonium is such an underrated flower, and a great modern substitute for gypsophila.  It’s inexpensive, looks great en masse and can work with pastel colours well.
I teamed it with my favourite roses available at the moment, Quicksand. Â They are the perfect dusky pink amongst the petals, yet latte coloured on the outer petals. To me, they evoke a very feminine and romantic feeling.
I clustered the roses to one side, as well as white snowberries on the other side.  I also added a few pieces of black queen anne’s lace to bring through the dark pink tones deep inside the roses.  The longer stems balance the fullness of the flowers.
This bouquet would suit a finer detailed dress, as well as a finish of dusky pink silk ribbon.
