Jeroni and I met while studying in the first year of high school, fifteen years ago in our hometown, Lleida, which is an hour far from Barcelona. We are "lifelong partners". Since then we are together and have lived in different places like Vienna, China and London.
I would argue it was love at first sight but Mahib disagrees because he DM’d me to go out and I left him on seen for two weeks!
Very early on we realised we are very aligned in most things, everything between us felt so natural and it was so easy to have fun. We’ve not stopped exploring, having fun and growing as a couple – it’s always felt super right & neither of us could imagine doing life without the other.
Becka — I’m an art director and interior designer and have lived in London for 15 years. Happiest when exploring new countries with Kadea, finding hidden gems with delicious food and wine. Our miniature schnauzer Milo is the centre of attention.
There was no official theme for our wedding, but we knew from the get-go that we wanted it to feel like a big party and be full of colour.
After 2 weeks I knew I was in trouble. I realised that I was in love with him, he also told me he wanted to marry me and have kids with him.
The vision for our wedding style was fun and colour! Each of the bridesmaids wore mismatched bright-coloured dresses with matching bouquets.
I always knew I wanted a stylish and classic wedding. I loved the look of a neutral colour palette however, wanted to bring a pop of colour in with the florals. It also looked amazing amongst the trees and festoons in the alfresco dining. Very romantic.
We met in a bar on a Friday night. Tom was with his colleagues, and I was out with a girlfriend for a few
cocktails. I thought Tom was incredibly handsome, and confident. We hit it off immediately, talking for
hours. He’s charming, witty, and incredibly fun. That was about 5 1/2 years ago now.
I got down on one knee and said, ‘Seven years ago, we made a wish we’d be together forever. Today, I want to make that wish finally come true. I love you, Becka. Will you marry me?' We then had a day of beach hopping and champagne and a couple’s massage on the roof terrace. We didn’t want anything fussy or too colourful for our wedding. We love simple, chic and rustic looks. Our venue was a 19th-century finca at the foot of the Sierra de Tramontana mountains, surrounded by almond, carob and olive trees.
Sarah — Having recently returned from a stint overseas, we now live in Auckland. I work for a leading New Zealand wine company and Rory has a background in finance and works for a commercial property fund manager.
Our story began like so many modern romances do, with a swipe right. Tim had actually 'super-liked' me, and I was pleasantly surprised to see such a handsome guy, as I usually didn't find many on the app. We were both in our mid-20s, living in share houses on opposite sides of Brisbane. Tim wasted no time and asked me out on a date in our first few messages. I appreciated his directness and lack of mind games, and we met for lunch at a halfway point not long after. From the moment we met, there was an undeniable connection. Tim's charming Kiwi accent certainly didn't hurt either. Our lunches quickly turned into dinners, and soon we were spending entire weekends together, knowing that we had found something truly special.
