An edit of destination photographers.
From Europe to Australasia and beyond, destination photography continues to shape the way modern love stories are captured. In this editorial from Issue 41, we spotlight nine destination photographers, each sharing what sets their work apart, what inspires their approach, and the locations theyโre travelling to in the year ahead. Designed as both inspiration and a practical guide, this feature offers couples a considered look at distinctive creative voices, alongside upcoming dates and destinations to help inform their plans.
Ellie Kia

My Point of Difference โ My work blends modern elegance with classic romance to create images that feel both emotive and timeless. I focus on storytelling, capturing the true essence of a wedding day so couples can return to those feelings and moments for years to come.
What Inspires Me โ I am inspired by the genuine emotions shared between couples, families and friends. Each wedding carries its own energy, shaped by light, landscape, fashion and design. These elements guide my eye, but it is always the joy and love in front of my lens that fuels my creativity.
Locations & dates โ Based between New Zealand and Australia, with European dates from June to September.

Kristin Lin

My Point of Difference โ My work is rooted in honest, heartfelt storytelling. I encourage couples to be present with each other rather than posing for the camera, allowing real connection to unfold naturally. I focus on the simple, soulful moments that define a wedding day, capturing them with sincerity, depth and a quiet, observant approach.
What Inspires Me โ I am inspired by genuine moments shared between people who love each other. Coffee on a wedding
morning, a dance with your dad, laughter with lifelong friends. I believe beauty lives in simplicity and truth, and I am always drawn to the real, unfiltered emotion that makes each celebration uniquely meaningful.
Locations & dates โ Available across the USA and in Europe for the northern hemisphere summer of 2026.

Chloe May

My Point of Difference โ With more than ten years of experience, I create imagery that feels both modern and timeless. I favour movement over static posing, weaving short pockets of portrait time throughout the day so couples remain fully present. My work blends classic elegance with current sensibilities, always prioritising honest moments over trends.
What Inspires Me โ I am inspired by everything I see and experience, from travel and architecture to books, films and editorial photography. I draw energy from the work of other creatives across many genres. We are surrounded by incredible visual beauty, and I love bringing those influences into my storytelling in a way that still feels authentic to each couple.
Locations & dates โ Based in Melbourne year-round, with Europe dates in May and June 2026, and again in May and June 2027.

El Woods

My Point of Difference โ My work sits at the intersection of editorial elegance and honest emotion. I read people intuitively, capturing the quiet language that lives between them with calm, thoughtful presence. Inspired by clean lines, natural movement and filmic tones, I blend style and sincerity to create imagery that feels soulful, refined and deeply true to each couple.
What Inspires Me โ I am inspired by the way love moves, its softness, depth and intention. Light, texture and landscape
shape my eye, from sun-warmed stone to windswept coastlines and intimate garden spaces. Travel enriches how I see connection and culture, but it is always the unspoken, God-given essence between two people that moves me most.
Locations & dates โ Based in Australia and the Seychelles year-round, with European dates from May to October.

Coco Celebrations

Our Point of Difference โ Our work balances editorial precision with candid honesty that cannot be staged. We are drawn to the quiet, in-between moments and craft them with intention and sensitivity. With an editorial eye for mood and composition, we create imagery that feels cinematic yet effortless, refined yet personal.
What Inspires Us โ Our own wedding experience inspired everything about our approach. Returning home with no photographs of a day that meant everything changed the way we see this work. We are driven by the promise that no couple should feel that absence. We are inspired by human connection, honest emotion and the privilege of preserving memories that will outlast the day itself.
Locations & dates โ Available in China in February 2026 and in Sydney year-round. We welcome enquiries for other locations too.

Harper Pictures

My Point of Difference โ I care deeply about the people who shape a wedding day. While I capture the big, expected moments, I am equally drawn to the unscripted ones: a mischievous child, your mum laughing with your friends, your grandparents sharing a quiet kiss. I want you to look back and feel the day, not a photoshoot.
What Inspires Me โ I am inspired by people who fully enjoy life, from dancers who move with abandon to the joyful oddities found in everyday moments. My influences range from folk art and documentaries to great novels, brilliant photographers and the tiny, personal details that reveal who people truly are. Anything honest, playful or beautifully
human sparks my creativity.
Locations & dates โ Available worldwide throughout 2026 and 2027.

Chelsea Palatucci

My Point of Difference โ I am a photographer, but my true medium is people. I work from within the celebration, moving freely so the camera feels like a friend rather than an observer. I thrive on spontaneity, responding instinctively to unposed, unexpected moments and creating images that feel alive, intimate and driven by the energy of the day.
What Inspires Me โ I am endlessly inspired by people in love and the small, vivid details that tell a story. From road trips and vintage film colours to music photography, diner pancakes, melted candles and sunlight on a wall, I draw from anything that feels honest, playful or beautifully human. Connection, character and atmosphere are always my greatest muses.
Locations & dates โ California in March; Nashville in April; NYC and Rome from May to August, then the USA East Coast through November.

Viola & Vow

My Point of Difference โ I capture the quiet magic that often goes unnoticed, working with a soft, familiar and deeply human approach. Creating space for couples to feel at ease so their moments unfold naturally. My work is calm, elegant, preserving the honest, in between moments that become the most powerful memories.
What Inspires Me โ The emotion, connection and nostalgia found in fleeting moments. Golden light, simple beauty and the way people show up for each other guide my eye. My own journey into motherhood shaped my desire to preserve
feeling, and that instinct continues to fuel my love for documenting weddings.
Locations & dates โ Available across Europe this Northern Hemisphere summer.

Sophie Patricia

My Point of Difference โ We balance artistry with honesty. As an Australian and Mexican husband-and-wife team, we bring two complementary ways of seeing. My instinct is gentle storytelling, while Luis gravitates toward cinematic detail. Together, we create work that feels refined, heartfelt, and true to the natural rhythm of the day.
What Inspires Me โ People and the stories they bring to a wedding day. I am drawn to light in all its forms, to movement, and to the emotion that unfolds when no one is performing. Mexico gives me soul and colour; Australia brings calm and stillness. Together, they shape how I see and photograph the world.
Locations & dates โ Based in Australia January to October, and in Mexico November to March, with travel across North America and Europe.
