This moody botanical shoot takes inspiration from sculptural florals and an industrial character-filled venue.
Whisky & Wood, the amazing location for this shoot, sets the tone with white-washed brick walls and striking ceiling trusses creating the perfect scene for a relaxed and modern romance. Softly wild florals and textural greenery wind their way up to the peaked ceiling creating a dramatic backdrop for Liz and Em’s vows.
Rambling rose, smoke bush, blush toned lilies and poppy seed pods; an inspired take on a classic tonal palette from rich greens and burgundy to blush and creamy petals.
Mindy & Gretta sought out seasonal blooms grown locally. They are proudly foam-free and avoid single-use plastics.
The neutral, monochrome earl gray and carrot cake picked out for the shoot tastes just as good as it looks and complements the tablescape perfectly.
Friends over at Citta provided artful styling elements in stone, hand glazed ceramics and fluted glassware.
Modern, bold, and fun dresses were specially selected for the brides. Liz wears pleated tulle layered to perfection, a divine contrast to Em’s sleek and simple look.
The models Liz and Emily are a powerhouse duo who launched their own underwear brand during COVID lockdown. Liz and Em are getting married in Queenstown in March this year, the first photos of the shoot capture the first time they have seen each other in wedding dresses – it was super special to witness!
