New Aesop Cleanser

Eleos Nourishing Body Cleanser by Aesop

As far as we’re concerned, Aesop can do no wrong—and their latest launch only deepens our infatuation. Enter the Eleos Nourishing Body Cleanser, a velvety cream cleanser designed to transform your everyday shower into a grounding, sensorial ritual.

True to Aesop form, Eleos strikes that elusive balance between form and function. The texture is luxurious—a rich, creamy emulsion that glides across the skin like silk, lathering just enough to feel indulgent without stripping. Created with dry or dehydrated skin in mind, it leaves you feeling not just cleansed but noticeably softer and more supple. Think of it less like a basic body wash and more like a warm, herbaceous hug in a bottle.

The scent profile is distinctively Aesop: earthy and refined with a hint of spiced intrigue. Cedar Atlas, patchouli, and clove bud come together to deliver a woody, slightly smoky aroma that lingers ever so gently post-shower. It’s comforting without being cloying—elegant and grounding.

Even the launch was pure Aesop theatre: to honour the product’s ritualistic nature, they collaborated with contemporary dancer Nayoung Kim of Tanztheater Wuppertal to create a performance inspired by the choreography of cleansing. It’s poetic, a little eccentric—and very Aesop.

Apply as needed (which, for us, is daily) by massaging from neck to toe on damp skin. Then rinse and marvel at how soft and soothed you feel. Bonus points if you pair it with their Geranium Leaf Body Balm.

In short? Eleos is another slow beauty triumph from the masters of minimalism and sensorial satisfaction. A must for anyone whose skin (or soul) is in need of a little extra care.
