Off Duty Diamonds Partridge Jewellers

Diamonds designed to move effortlessly through the rhythm of everyday life.

Partridge’s latest campaign, Off-Duty Diamonds, explores a more instinctive and contemporary approach to fine jewellery, one where diamonds become part of the rhythm of everyday dressing rather than reserved solely for occasion wear. Captured through a beautifully understated campaign of still imagery and film, the collection reflects the evolving way modern women are choosing to wear fine jewellery today: layered effortlessly into daily life, styled with ease and lived in with confidence.

Conceived by an all-female creative team and directed by Partridge Brand and Creative Director Madeline Saxton-Beer, the campaign unfolds through intimate moments set against the urban pace of Auckland’s central business district. Photographed by Holly Sarah Burgess and brought to life on film by Greta van der Star, Los Angeles-based New Zealand model Renee Wilkins moves fluidly through the city in a wardrobe of sculptural gold, luminous diamonds and quietly powerful silhouettes. Styling by Courtney Joe and beauty direction from Alexandra Stanworth-Brown further reinforce the campaign’s polished yet undone mood, balancing refinement with modern wearability.

What makes Off-Duty Diamonds particularly relevant within the current fashion landscape is its softer approach to luxury. Jewellery is no longer viewed purely through the lens of occasion or formality, but rather as part of a woman’s personal uniform, layered into everyday life alongside tailoring, denim, relaxed shirting and elevated essentials. Across the campaign, sculptural precious metals are softened by the natural radiance of diamonds, creating pieces that feel both directional and enduring.

“Off-Duty Diamonds reflects a shift in how diamonds are worn today by the modern woman,” says Madeline Saxton-Beer. “There is a sense of ease to these pieces, a curation of unique, finely crafted jewels that exist within the pace of everyday life, entrusted to be one’s companions for daily adornment for years to come.”

The collection also continues Partridge’s long-standing commitment to natural diamonds and contemporary craftsmanship, bringing together heritage expertise with a distinctly modern point of view. Established in 1864, Partridge remains New Zealand’s oldest family-owned jeweller, balancing generations of knowledge with an increasingly fashion-conscious approach to fine jewellery design and presentation.

Featured throughout the campaign are pieces available across Partridge boutiques in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Queenstown, including the recently opened 80 Queen Street boutique in Auckland, a space dedicated exclusively to the Partridge collection and celebrating its first anniversary this month.

Elegant yet unforced, Off-Duty Diamonds captures the growing desire for jewellery that feels expressive, personal and seamlessly integrated into modern life. Less about saving diamonds for special occasions and more about wearing them instinctively, every day.
