Saben Collection Release at David Jones Attracts the Attention of Kate Waterhouse

Saben’s latest collection SOUL SISTERS is here.

Saben founder, designer and creative director, Roanne Jacobson celebrated the Global Premier of her latest collection SOUL SISTERS at Sydney’s David Jones flagship on Elizbeth St.

The catalyst that sparked the move was an invitation from New Zealand Trade and Enterprise. As part of their ‘Discover New’ event, Level 8 of David Jones Elizabeth Street Flagship, Sydney was transformed into a gallery exhibiting the best of New Zealand brands, with Saben proudly carrying the torch for the luxury accessories category.

Jacobson knew this was her opportunity to plant a flag in the sand and bring Saben to the Australian market.

Jacobson invited dear friends and latest Saben converts – armed with their newest covetable accessory Roanne’s very special guests, Kate Waterhouse, Rey Vakali, Cynthia Taylu, Arianne Witt (aka Lola Jagger), Montarna Pitt and twins Danielle and Nicole showed off their favourite new pieces from the collection.

Helping her transform the 8th floor of the iconic department store, Roanne enlisted the help of florist extraordinaire, Hermetica to create a visual feast inspired by the rugged west coast beaches of her second home in Auckland. Designed with the wilderness of New Zealand’s coastline in mind, hero silhouettes were at home, nestled amongst the moss and floral plumes, among the black pebbles and suspended from driftwood branches.

After 20 years of being a much-loved brand in New Zealand, Roanne is bringing her iconic brand to Australia. The collection is available to shop at Elizabeth Street, selected David Jones stores and at Davidjones.com
