Stavros + Marina by Your White Moments - Together Journal

Tell us a little about yourselves, what you do, what you love, what is unique about you and your relationship:

Stavros is 33 years old, works as a store manager and interior designer at a company. Stavros spends his free time watching movies, going for outdoor activities and also has a big love for photography. Marina is 30 years and she’s a lawyer.

She loves listening to music, reading books, having long talks with her friends. Our relationship counts almost 10 years and we can’t even remember ourselves without being together!

We are both free spirits and open minded people, we love travelling together, we are “adventure seekers” and we are never bored of experiencing new things. What makes our relationship unique and long lasting is the mutual respect and full understanding. Although,we really love doing things together, at the same time we give time and space to each other.

Tell us about your special day, was there a specific theme or style? Tell us a little about the setting, the styling and some of your favourite details:

We always wanted an intimate wedding with our families and closest friends. We are not fans of big weddings because we believe that this special day must be spent with the people that are truly happy with your happiness. Also, we wanted our wedding to take place somewhere different and special, so we decided to get married at our favourite greek island, Tinos. We had only a few months to plan our wedding and despite the difficulties because of the current circumstances due to covid-19, we did it! All of our guests managed to travel and we were more than happy and thankful that we had them next to us at this special day! The thing that we enjoyed most is that it was a close and destination wedding so we had the time to spend it with our favourite people, without the stress of preparations! We are all so relaxed and cool and we almost forgot that we were getting married, it was like a holiday!

Tell us about your main outfits: We wanted our outfits to be in harmony with the island style, so we avoid exaggerations and too much details.

Stavros wore a blue suit with a white shirt and no tie!

Marina’s wedding dress had a boho and chic style with some pearl and light strass details. She combined it with simple and discreet necklace and earrings, a vintage gold bracelet (gift from her mother) and metallic gold heels.

What were some of the most memorable/unique moments from the day:

Our weddind day was so magical for us and it’s really difficult to choose the best moments because the whole day was really amazing! The serenity of the island, the autumn breeze, the cool vibes of the atmosphere were the perfect background for our day. We were so thrilled and excited that we managed to get married at our favourite place with our families and friends together.

The ceremony took place at a beautiful village of Tinos and then we had a party at a traditional tavern in the middle of the square. We remember ourselves laughing and dancing and we felt the love and happiness of our people. Surely it was one of the days of our lives! We see the photos and videos from that day and we still ask ourselves “Do we truly lived this?!”
