New Zealand celebrity chef and entrepreneur Jordan Rondel of The Caker partners with American model and TV personality Chrissy Teigen to launch her new carrot cake kit collaboration from The Caker.
Founded by cake extraordinaire Jordan Rondel in 2010, The Caker originally started out as a recipe blog in Auckland. Followed by the success of its line of cake kits in New Zealand and its recent expansion in the U.S, The Caker has since expanded into two bakery locations where Rondel, along with her sister Anouk, serves her signature, luxe cakes that are packed full of flavour and love.
Bonded by an ethos and love of all things homemade, Jordan Rondel has recently teamed up with Chrissy Teigen. Just in time for Chrissy and John Legend’s wedding anniversary comes a foolproof luxury cake kit collaboration between Cravings and The Caker to help everyone at home recreate the one thing Chrissy loves most – carrot cake.

Like The Caker’s signature cake kits, it is no doubt that professionals and amateurs alike will surely be able to whip up something that looks like it came straight from a high-end bakery. With this newest kit, you’ll end up with a delectable spiced carrot cake packed with sweet yet tart currants, iced with classic cream cheese icing, and topped off with organic salted caramel. As with Rondel’s ethos, the result is a cake that tastes EVEN better than it looks!
On the collaboration, Jordan Rondel, said: “Chrissy was a total dream to work with since the first minute and I too love a moist spiced carrot cake! Like most of my cake kit recipes, this one was adapted from a very tried and true recipe from our bakery to allow everyone at home to create a sticky, luscious, and decadent cake.”
The limited edition kits will cost NZ$30 and will be available to purchase in New Zealand from September 15th HERE.
