Greece Inspired Editorial

A Greece-inspired royal blue wedding

This editorial shoot was imagined around the theme of Greece, with the intention of creating a world that blends elegance, authenticity, and Mediterranean softness. Inspired by Ancient Greece and the landscapes of the Cyclades, the project highlights a modern, minimalist, and timeless aesthetic, designed to tell a meaningful story through every detail.

Above all, this project represents the meeting of two Léas — two creative worlds that naturally came together to imagine and bring this inspirational shoot to life. Driven by the same artistic sensibility, the same passion for the wedding industry, and the same desire to create intentional and meaningful projects, Léa from Un Zeste and Léa from Léa Event Agency combined their visions to create a harmonious and refined universe deeply inspired by the Mediterranean.

The colour palette was carefully chosen to reflect this atmosphere: warm whites, deep blues, and subtle touches of gold, reminiscent of the Aegean Sea, Mediterranean sunlight, and Greek architecture. Together, these tones create a luminous, sophisticated, and deeply romantic ambience.

Villa Rocabella quickly became the obvious choice to embody the spirit of the shoot. Nestled between sky and sea, this exceptional venue offers an inspiring and deeply Mediterranean setting, perfectly aligned with the artistic direction of the project. Through its elegant architecture, mineral textures, and radiant atmosphere, the villa evokes the aesthetic of ancient Greek temples and the harmony characteristic of classical architecture. It feels like a true sanctuary where simplicity, refinement, and grandeur coexist, echoing the atmosphere of ancient Greek celebrations.

The artistic direction was thoughtfully designed down to the smallest detail to create a true immersion into the world of Ancient Greece while preserving a modern and minimalist aesthetic. For the ceremony design, the spiral seating arrangement was imagined as a reference to ancient Greek amphitheatres. This circular and enveloping shape creates a strong visual movement while echoing the floral installation placed on the floor, designed as an organic semi-circle inspired by Greek architectural lines.

The décor was intentionally minimal in order to preserve a contemporary and refined aesthetic. We wanted to avoid an overly elaborate tablescape so that each element could breathe and every texture, shape, and carefully selected detail could stand out. This minimalist approach brings a sense of modernity while reinforcing the timeless elegance of the theme.

The choice of ceramic pots and vases directly references ancient Greek amphorae and their rich history. Each ceramic piece was handcrafted by Manon from Aloni Déco, an artisanal and artistic process that naturally reinforced our desire to integrate authentic craftsmanship into the scenography. The statues featured throughout the décor were also intentionally selected for their strong connection to Greek history and art, recalling the iconic sculptures found within ancient temples and museums.

For the flatlay and stationery design, several emblematic elements of Ancient Greece were incorporated to strengthen the visual identity of the shoot. The statue-shaped place cards, stationery inspired by Greek columns, and amphora-inspired menu design all reference powerful symbols of Greek antiquity. The plaque featuring female statues used within the flatlay styling is an authentic piece sourced directly from Greece, chosen specifically for its authenticity and direct connection to the theme. The Greek evil eye was also incorporated into the scenography as an iconic symbol of Greek culture, traditionally associated with protection and happiness.

The wedding dress was selected for its timeless elegance and delicate details reminiscent of the draping and refinement of ancient Greek aesthetics. Its intricate lacework, combined with a fluid and feminine silhouette, brings a romantic, radiant, and sophisticated dimension to the overall styling. The airy veil further enhances the feeling of softness and Mediterranean lightness present throughout the shoot.

The floral compositions were designed within a palette blending luminous whites and deep blues, directly inspired by the landscapes of the Cyclades and the Aegean Sea. White flowers bring purity, elegance, and light, while touches of blue reinforce the Mediterranean identity of the theme. Together, they create a refined balance between softness, modernity, and classical inspiration.

The couple’s styling and accessories were thoughtfully curated to maintain complete harmony throughout the project. The pearl jewellery evokes the Mediterranean spirit while echoing the beaded details of the gown. The bride’s hairstyle, featuring a braid and soft waves, was directly inspired by the hairstyles of ancient Greek goddesses.

The groom’s double-breasted white suit was chosen for its timeless elegance and sophisticated allure. Its tailored silhouette brings a chic and refined aesthetic inspired by the “old money” style while remaining perfectly aligned with the soft, luminous, and Mediterranean atmosphere of the shoot.

Every accessory, from the jewellery and hairstyles to the wardrobe and styling details, was intentionally selected to echo the Greek universe and reinforce the authenticity of the project. Every detail was carefully considered to create a fully cohesive aesthetic inspired by the timeless beauty of Greece.
