A boho luxe, coastal styled shoot inspired by our model Ella, this shoot combined a touch of relaxed free-spirited bohemian style with a touch of refined elegance.
Elopements and micro weddings allow a couple to completely connect with each other and their surroundings and do it their way, which was perfect for our Boho Luxe couple. We focussed on a neutral colour palette with accents of gold tones and touches of silver, for tranquility, light, and elegance.
Vinka Design’s beautifully hand-made gowns with intricate lace and bead work, floral accents and dramatic silhouettes paired with the stylish drape of a Crane Brothers’ soft linen blazer and tailored cotton trouser for that relaxed luxe look.
Wild Blooms crafted delicate, beautifully detailed floral installations of neutral dried blooms with silver and gold metallic accents and Serenity brought both playfulness and drama, pairing a chic messy bun and pony with strong smokey eye makeup.
Flock’s earthy, neutral-toned furniture and soft furnishings, the Paper Gazelle’s bespoke signage, and a subtle, Boho tablescape in the charming, airy space of The Officer’s Mess, along with Auckland’s Narrow Neck Beach with its Pohutakawa cliffs under the watchful eye of Rangitoto provided the perfect natural settings.
Boho Luxe was all about subtle contrasts – the natural and refined, inside and out, relaxed and formal, cane and brass, linen and lace, to create a beautiful aesthetic for the bride in the dramatic gown who can still kick off her shoes and stand in the sea breeze with her beau – that effortless, casual glamour.
