We chose crisp, clean colours like ivory and shades of green.
Tell us a little about yourselves, what you do, what you love…
We’re Celeste and Caleb, two young souls who found each other early on in life and built a beautiful story together. I’m Celeste, an operations manager – extremely organised with a passion for interior design and all things beauty, whilst Caleb has just finished his career as a footy player, and is working out his next chapter. Outside of our careers, we’re happiest when we’re with our family and friends. As cliche as it sounds, I think most people would agree this is a stand-out topic for both of us. Our love for each other is a quiet, constant joy, and we’re always grateful for the little moments—whether we’re running through our days schedules over coffee each morning or simply taking out two goldies for a walk.Â
How/where/when did you meet – and what were your first impressions?
We met for the first time in person at a nightclub but had spent alot of time chatting to each other over Snapchat! Neither of us knew how we had each other on the social media app, but you could call it destiny! I do remember he had come from Sydney, where he was living at the time, and I had come from studying at home for my Year 12 health exam the next day… dedicated to my studies! The first time I saw him, I was in shock over his height… and then he spoke with a thick country accent. There was something so sweet and safe about him. We sat together the whole night and have not looked back since.
When did you first realise that this was someone you’d like to spend the rest of your life with?
It was pretty soon after meeting each other’s families. I remember on Caleb’s 21st birthday, he had invited my family to dinner with his. The interactions between everyone were honestly as though everyone knew each other for a long time, and now I look back and realise that the bond shared between the two of us had transcended to our own families. This is what initially made me realise!
Our families are both equally the first groups of people we think of when we have news to share, and we are so lucky to have found a significant other who values this the most.
Tell us about the vision you had for the mood and style of your wedding. (Theme, key styling elements, florals, colour palettes, etc.)
Our vision for the wedding was a perfect blend of classic and timeless elegance with a Tuscan twist in the country. We wanted our day to feel intimate, filled with warmth and love under the stars – the weather was an absolute blessing. We chose crisp, clean colours like ivory and shades of green to create a serene and natural atmosphere. Our florals were soft and elegant— big fluffy roses were key, along with hydrangeas and seasonal foliage, to evoke feelings of natural beauty, paired with silver-plated candle sticks. The overall vibe was one of sophistication, with a touch of Tuscan charm that felt like a fairytale come to life.
What styling and visual elements worked best for you?
Texture! Textured styling elements were a fantastic choice for our day as the venue was so beautiful, it didn’t need a lot of styling, but more importantly depth, richness, and enhancement of what was already there. We opted for a range of hire items through Cloth and Confett, from linen blend tablecloths and napkins to different fabrics hung throughout the venue. Luxurious fabrics such as taffeta, silk and linen were used together to create an intimate atmosphere and truly enhanced the aesthetic. The back drop that was created for photos was one of my favourite styling additions of the day!

I cannot fault any elements visually… The florals were absolutely magical—they truly brought our vision to life without being over the top! The soft roses and delicate greenery felt like a natural extension of the venue’s true beauty. The real magic happened when the golden-hour light shone through before the first dance, illuminating everything in the most perfect way – the sky turned into fairy floss! Our venue itself was so stunning, with its vintage charm and incredible garden. The combination of our carefully chosen décor through Cloth and Confetti and the venue’s beauty made everything feel like we had stepped into a storytime garden party.
What did you enjoy most about the planning process and do you have any tips for couples starting their wedding planning journey?
The most enjoyable part for us was sharing wedding updates or decisions with our family – it was like a fun joint project sometimes. We wanted our flower girls to be excited for the day and that they were when they had the opportunity to pick out their accessories… I must say, they have a beautiful taste! From choosing the music to picking out the font for our wedding invitations, it felt so special to know that every decision was something we both loved. My biggest tip for couples planning their wedding is to stick to your own style and don’t get overwhelmed by what others are doing. I think it’s such an amazing moment when you see what has come to life and know that it’s your own creation and everything you could have ever wanted. Also, ask your vendor for suggestions if you are feeling a little lost – they are the experts and have most likely seen what works and what does not!
Tell us about your main outfits, what was unique, is there a story?
My dress was a true reflection of the love I felt on that day—it was a dress that not only suited me physically but also my personality – structured and eddy! It is not a dress I will ever get over! It had a beautifully designed corset with boning that hugged my torso like nothing else. The Italian taffeta train dropped at the hips effortlessly, and it made me feel like a princess. The team at Shehzarin Batha were incredible every step of the way! Caleb’s suit was timelessly classic, with a beautiful silk lapel and bow tie that made him look like James Bond! I was very adamant about the bridesmaids wearing a pop of colour until we found the gorgeous silky dresses at Effie Kats. A classic and timeless cowl neck slinky white dress that made my bridesmaids look like angels standing next to me. Walking down the aisle that day was truly unforgettable—it was like everything fell into place, and the moment was just for Caleb and I. So much laughter.
What was one or two elements that were most important to you both that you were happy to spend a little more on? (Food, photography, florals, the venue, your outfits?)
Venue was by far the most important as we have a lot of family in the country and wanted them to make it a priority. We were so lucky to have come across the Euroa Butter Factory, only 30 minutes away from Caleb’s hometown of Benalla. The dress was also a priority, as I knew exactly what I wanted to see myself in. Surprisingly, I found the designer by chance when walking down a high street one Saturday and made my decision in one weekend – love at first sight. As for all of the wedding elements, such as photography, content creation, styling, etc, we had a budget, which was super important. We worked within the budget and came across some amazing and talented people who were so lovely, and I could tell each and every one of them was truly dedicated to what they did. I trusted each one of them to do their job once I gave them my vision, and I think this is probably what made the whole process a dream. I would urge every person planning a wedding to ask their vendors for suggestions on anything they aren’t 100% on because the most amazing parts of our day were just these little things!Â
Did anything happen on your wedding day that you laugh about in hindsight (even if it was stressful at the time)?
Oh, there was a moment when my husband said my surname incorrectly during the vows, and then we couldn’t get his ring on because it was so hot! There were plenty of laughs. We were both so nervous, trying to keep everything together, but we couldn’t help but laugh in the end. It was one of those perfect imperfections that made the day even more unforgettable. Looking back, it just added to the charm of the day—we were able to laugh it off and remember that, no matter what, we had each other, and this was the true us.Â
