Brooke: Cassandra has an infectious laugh and knows how to make me smile. She has strong family values and comes from a family consisting almost entirely of women! Her background is hospitality, but her passion and one big love is working with canines.Â
Sam and I are both entrepreneurs. I’m the retail director of Elle + Riley Cashmere. Sam works across menswear lifestyle brand Asuwere and leading tech startup, Whip Around. We share a son, our miniature schnauzer George, whom we both absolutely adore.
Tell us a little about yourselves, what you do, what you love…
Dwayne runs his own tennis academy and Gaby is a registered nurse working in urgent care. Covid took away one of our main loves – travel – and with it the honeymoon.
I had seen Westney in a lecture at uni and knew I had to meet her. It took almost a year to finally talk to her and introduce myself properly.

We live on the sunny Gold Coast and both appreciate the outdoors – I love to surf, Ash loves four-wheel-driving and we both enjoy camping and a good David Attenborough doco! Ash is a carpenter-turned-director of an addiction-recovery program, and I’m a Paediatric Nurse.

(Jake) Mitchell and I are both working professionals, we are an extremely hard-working couple and are extremely career-driven. Mitchell loves watching anything sports and enjoys playing any sport he can join. I love to meet with friends, go out socialising and going on adventures.
Tell us a little about yourselves, what you do, what you love, what is unique about you and relationship:
Let’s start from the beginning! 2 kiwi kids that both enjoy health and fitness which made absolute sense that we met at the gym (crossfit gym). Bizarre that we found each other across the ditch.
Living in New Zealand, Sam and I were very lucky that the Covid-19 pandemic didn’t impact our wedding plans too much, though we were devastated that some of our guests from Australia and the UK couldn’t make the ceremony.
I work in sales and Jonny is a project manager at his family business. We’re relatively low-key people so the idea of organising a day purely to celebrate us was hard to wrap our heads around at first.
Marie: I’m Georgian and Michael is Egyptian. While our cultures are seemingly different, there are lots of similarities – like the prospect of our families physically combusting if we were to live together before marriage. Oh, the horror!Â
Nick and I come from diverse backgrounds. I was born in the Philippines, and moved to Sydney at the end of secondary school. Nick was born in Sydney, and his father is Lebanese and his mother is French and Spanish.Â
We fell in love by complete chance, and now we’re the best of friends. Sometimes you never know when you’ll meet your person.
