Cool Girl Jewellery Inspo 2026 – Part 1

Your starting point for covetable engagement rings, curated with modern romance.

Did you get engaged over the summer and are now searching for the perfect ring? Or perhaps a proposal is on the cards this year, and you’re gathering inspiration to subtly send your beloved’s way. Either way, consider this your starting point. Our editorial team has curated a covetable selection of the most beautiful rings from around the world, a feast of design, craftsmanship and modern romance.

Trends for the cool girls we are noticing…

Chunky, bold, and deep-set rings with contemporary stone cuts that make a statement.

Coloured stones for a statement, and even the mixing of different coloured stones within the same pieces. Or, as Artemer has so skillfully done, actually mixing coloured stones within the same setting, as in the ring, bottom right.

Toi et moi rings, which literally means “you and me in French and in jewellery terms means two stones set side by side – it’s a rather lovely symbol of two people in love. We especially love the toi et moi ring below, left, with the gap between the stones, combining modern design with a toi et moi signature double-stone.

Wavey, vine-like shapes give a more organic and fluid look.

East-West settings, which simply means the solitaire is set horizontally rather than the more common vertical solitaire setting, can really suit some people’s hands and are worth trying on.

Storytelling rings are a favourite right now. We love the ability to truly personalise your piece. How romantic! We are currently a little bit obsessed with Cece, the British brand behind Cece Jewellery.

The new modern. Hints of art deco but in a sharper, more minimal way. Beautiful examples below by Shay Jewelry, Loraida Jewels and Mejuri Me

Platinum as your metal. With the ever-rising price of gold, we are seeing a jump in platinum. Which is actually a great choice for a wedding and engagement ring. Especially if you are a cool girl who loves cool tones. Not to mention it’s the most robust of metals, far harder than gold and perfect for everyday wear. We are seeing it as a standalone metal or mixed with yellow gold – future-proofing your choice in jewellery metals.

Mosaic Rings – more often than not seen with coloured stones and sometimes with a black base, which is very modern choice, but one we are backing to last. It has hints of modern deco.

So feast your eyes on part one of a curated collection that covers these trends and more. And you never know. You may just find your forever ring or forever jeweller?
