We wanted a day that felt warm, intimate, and deeply tied to nature.
Tell us a little about yourselves—what you do, what you love
We’re career-oriented but love our small routines; they’re the things that make us, us. We love taking our dog Lucky for long walks, spending hours talking about our days, dreaming about goals for the future, and getting in nightly workouts together. At home, we like simple evenings: cooking dinner, watching a movie on the couch, or playing cards. What we enjoy most is the ease it feels to spend ordinary days together when they’re shared.
Jeremy works in finance and values discipline and balance, finding clarity through lifting weights, yoga, sports, or finding time to dive into his newest book. Esha is an attorney with a deep appreciation for design, craft, and the beauty of well-made things, especially those with history and character, long lasting, things that don’t fall apart or short lived.
We value warmth, curiosity, and a life built thoughtfully. We learn from each other constantly and find that even the most ordinary days feel meaningful because we experience them together.
How/where/when did you meet—and what were your first impressions?
We met on Hinge in October 2018, at a moment of new beginnings for both of us. Esha had just moved to San Francisco to begin law school, and Jeremy had recently returned after years in Southern California and several months travelling through Europe and Southeast Asia.
From our first date, the connection felt natural. Conversation moved easily from one topic to the next, with a rhythm that felt familiar rather than new. Esha was drawn to Jeremy’s thoughtfulness and the care he brought to small details. Jeremy was struck by Esha’s warmth, depth, and quiet confidence.
What stood out most was how easy it felt to be ourselves. We shared a similar way of seeing the world and a deep respect for family. Within an hour of saying goodbye, we were already texting about the best Thai restaurants to try and when we would see each other again. From the beginning, it felt comfortable and grounded, something built on mutual respect, without needing to be named.

What styling and visual elements worked best for you?
The moment we saw photographs of Flora Farms, something inside of us clicked. We knew instantly that it was the place we were meant to get married. The venue carries a kind of understated magic: fields of wildflowers, lush vegetable gardens, mango trees, and a barn draped in greenery that feels both rustic and impossibly elegant. Nothing about it is forced; the beauty feels alive, organic, and full of soul.
We wanted a day that felt warm, intimate, and deeply tied to nature for our Hindu and Jewish ceremonies, and Flora Farms offered all of that effortlessly.
What did you enjoy most about the planning process, and any tips for couples starting theirs?
For Esha, the most joyful part of planning was curating each piece of stationery. Creating the invitations, menus, and programs allowed her to bring a personal, creative perspective to the weekend. Working closely with artists on custom illustrations made each piece feel thoughtful and reflective of us as a couple. Jeremy was especially drawn to thinking through how our Hindu and Jewish traditions could come together, and was struck by how many shared values and parallels emerged in the process.
Our advice to couples starting their planning is to focus on the parts that genuinely excite you. Not every aspect will feel effortless, but choosing a few elements that feel personal, fun, and true to your personalities can make the experience both more meaningful and more manageable.

Tell us about your vendors—any standouts?
We were incredibly lucky to work with a team that treated our wedding with deep care and intention. Our amazing planner, Martha, was truly a lifeline throughout the process. She was patient, organised, and endlessly dedicated. She walked us through every detail, large and small, ensuring that the day unfolded perfectly.
Our photographer, Haven, was a dream. She not only captured our vision but elevated it. Her images hold a softness, a warmth, and a strength that moved us deeply. She has a gift for finding the beauty in every moment.
The florals and tablescapes, designed by Esha, were brought to life by Mazarte Floral Designs. The decorations were a true labor of love – personal, expressive, and more beautiful than we ever imagined. And our live band was the centerpiece of the celebration: full of energy, heart, and soul. It was the one non-negotiable, and it quickly became one of the most memorable parts of the night.
Each vendor played a role in turning our vision into the most unforgettable weekend of our lives.
Tell us about your main outfits—what was unique, and is there a story?
Esha’s Indian wedding lehenga was her most meaningful look of the weekend. It honoured her heritage while reflecting her modern sensibility. The rose-toned fabric caught the light beautifully, and the intricate mirror work added subtle movement with every step.
The silhouette felt elegant and grounded, balancing tradition with a sense of ease. Wearing it was a way to carry history forward while remaining true to her own style.

Tell us about your wedding and engagement rings.
Designing the engagement ring together was an intimate and meaningful experience. We worked with Rita, a Toronto-based jeweller Esha had admired for years, whose approach is thoughtful and precise.
Our wedding bands were picked together at Frank Darling in San Francisco. Being able to go in person, play around with rings we would have the rest of our lives, in the city we fell in love with, felt so fun and deeply personal.
What were one or two elements that were most important for you to invest in?
What mattered most to us was creating a weekend that centred on both people and place. We wanted to gather the friends and family who have shaped our lives and spend meaningful, intentional time together. Having everyone in one setting for the weekend allowed those connections to deepen naturally.
The setting itself was equally important. We looked for venues that felt calm and welcoming, where guests could slow down and be present. San Jose del Cabo has always offered us a sense of peace and warmth, and we were so happy to see our guests feel that embrace over the weekend.

Was there a favourite moment you will treasure always?
Our first dance is a moment we will always treasure. Dancing together under the Cabo night sky to a song that had long been meaningful to us felt intimate and grounding.
Both ceremonies were equally significant. Standing side by side through each tradition, surrounded by the people we love, is something we will carry with us long after the weekend ended.
What does being married mean to you?
Marriage, to us, is a daily commitment to choose one another with respect, patience, and care. It shows up in small ways, from shared routines, honest conversations at the end of long days, to learning how to support each other as we grow.
It’s about building a life rooted in trust, shared values, and steadiness. Through change and uncertainty, it’s the comfort of knowing you have a partner beside you, moving through it together.
