A cinematic eye capturing weddings with warmth and intention.
Known for a refined and intuitive approach, Hidden Lens documents weddings with authenticity at the forefront. Guided by genuine connection and an appreciation for natural moments, their work allows couples to feel completely themselves. Each image is shaped by emotion, light, and a quietly unfolding narrative.

Your work is known for capturing authentic, unfiltered moments—can you share a wedding memory that still makes you smile when you look back?
One moment that will always stay with me was at A & J’s wedding. Before I left, I printed a few sneak peek photos on the spot and gifted them to the couple. Seeing their genuine surprise and emotion in that moment—before the day had even settled—became a core memory for me. It reminded me why I do what I do.
Hidden Lens helps couples feel completely themselves in front of the camera. How do you create that sense of ease from the very first interaction?
I focus on connection before anything else. I ask couples about their story—how they met, their first date, the proposal. When they start talking about memories that mean something to them, they naturally relax. Those conversations shift the focus away from the camera and back onto what really matters: them.

Your images have a warm, cinematic quality. How do you approach shaping light, composition, and atmosphere to tell each couple’s unique story?
I’m drawn to softer, warmer light because it feels timeless and emotive. I work intuitively with natural light and the environment, allowing moments to unfold rather than forcing them. Composition and atmosphere come from observing how couples interact—how they move, pause, and connect—so the images feel honest and cinematic rather than overly styled.
Weddings are full of fleeting moments. How do you know when to step back and let something unfold naturally versus offering gentle guidance?
It’s a balance of instinct and experience. When a moment is naturally unfolding, I step back and let it breathe. If I sense hesitation or uncertainty, I offer light guidance—never interrupting the emotion, just helping couples feel comfortable enough to be present. My goal is to support the moment, not control it.

Inspiration comes from everywhere—art, travel, or life itself. What’s an unexpected source that has influenced your photography recently?
Films have been a huge source of inspiration for me lately. I’m drawn to the way movies use light, pacing, and quiet moments to tell emotional stories. It’s influenced how I look for stillness, subtle gestures, and in-between moments on wedding days.
From city rooftops to coastal backdrops, location can shape a story. Are there spaces or environments that particularly excite your creative eye?
I’m naturally drawn to greenery and coastal landscapes, but what excites me most is the couple themselves. Even in locations I’ve photographed many times before, it’s the connection, energy, and story of the couple that make each setting feel completely new.

Dream weddings: if you could photograph anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
Florence will always be at the top of my list. It’s my favourite city in the world—timeless, romantic, and full of soul. I’ve visited once, but the city left such a strong impression on me that I’d love to return and document love stories there.
Every couple brings something different to the day. How do you tailor your approach to reflect their personality and connection?
I always start with conversation. I ask couples to share mood boards and we go through consultations well before the day. Some couples are playful and energetic, others are quiet and intimate—and I adapt my approach to reflect that. Understanding their dynamic helps me document their day in a way that feels true to them.

Choosing a photographer can feel overwhelming. What advice would you give couples for finding someone whose work truly resonates with them?
Have a proper conversation before booking. Beyond loving someone’s work, it’s important to understand how they communicate and approach a wedding day. Knowing what you want—and being able to talk openly about it—makes all the difference. Communication is everything.
Looking ahead, what creative adventures or projects are you most excited about exploring beyond weddings?
’m really excited to explore more fashion and lifestyle photography. In the new year, I’d love to work with different brands and dive into conceptual solo portraits—experimenting with styling, storytelling, and creative direction beyond weddings.
