Caleb & I met 6 years ago out the back of one of the local New Plymouth bars (not the most romantic of settings). I was still studying in Auckland and over the following few months we spent a lot of time messaging back and forth, before we managed to have our first date.

We’ve been together almost entirely since high school, verging on half our lives. Having grown together over so many years we’re fortunate enough to share an amazing group of friends and our families know each other and get along so well.

Introducing us as Kurt and Jacinta Boledziuk. Kurt is 35 years old and I’m 34. A myth existed for some time that Jacinta and Kurt met at a service station while cycling. That was actually date number three as the truth is, they both swiped right. Jacinta and Kurt’s first date was in June 2015 at Union Electric Bar.

Our story started over 10 years ago when we met the old-fashioned way, in a bar! Numbers were exchanged and we went on our first date a week later. Despite having grown up a few miles apart and having many mutual friends, our paths had not crossed until this point, and living in a fairly rural part of the UK, that was pretty unusual!
Growing up, Amy Chen dreamt that one day she would open her very own cosmetic acupuncture clinic just like her father did. After earning more than seven years experience in the health and beauty sector, she combined her two greatest skill sets and founded Origin’s Acupuncture Clinic in Auckland, New Zealand – where she now spends her days doing exactly what she set out to achieve.
Samm is a photographer and Kerry is a computer technician. We both love animals, traveling to chilly mountainous locations, camping, British sitcoms, various cheddar cheeses, the original Dr Mario, sarcasm and bawdy humour.
We wanted to create a fun, fresh and modern take on an intimate elopement gathering, featuring our real life couple, Ed and Neilani.
We met at a beach bar about 20 minutes before last call. Chris wandered up to a spot at the bar next to Cory, who started the conversation.
We met as roommates while living in Vancouver. We eventually grew into something more. We still remember getting to live together in downtown Vancouver so fondly.
