Open Conversations – Katie from Hera Couture + Daisy Brides

Has your business been affected by the recent news?

We are very fortunate to be running at full capacity in our workrooms, with our team of couturiers busy creating both our Hera Couture and Daisy gowns. We want to assure our brides that our gowns are still being crafted to their usual high standards and timelines so that they can meet their dream gown on their special day.

Are your customers concerned or are you noticing a difference in customers?

We are very transparent with our brides and at the moment, we’ve not experienced any major concerns or queries about timelines for their gowns in our showroom or online. They’re still excited and busy planning for their big day which is wonderful to see.

Do you have any advice for future brides at the moment?

Don’t panic and try to stay calm. We are local and if you or a member of your bridal party has travelled in the last two weeks or is feeling unwell, definitely let a member of our team know and we can easily reschedule you. We will be doing exactly the same for our clients too.

Have you put procedures in place for the future to alleviate concerns around the current landscape and your customers?

The well-being and happiness of our team and brides is our biggest priority, so we’re taking extra steps to ensure our showroom is clean and hygienic for everyone. We’re also closely monitoring the latest advice and recommendations given by the New Zealand Government.

What exciting things do you have coming up in the business?

It’s important to stay focused and look forward to things. We have just launched our latest Symphony Collection and have been overwhelmed by the positive feedback. The team has been incredible and we’re really looking forward to rolling out our next campaign.
