Our inspiration for this styled editorial shoot stemmed from the serene and sophisticated ambience of Santa Clara 1728, a hotel in the old quarter of Lisbon. Captivated by its stunning architecture and natural light, we envisioned a look that blended the historical elegance of Lisbon’s cultural centre with contemporary, vibrant aesthetics. The aim was to create a modern yet timeless feel that highlighted the location’s beauty, complemented by seasonal elements and a bold colour palette.

After selecting Santa Clara 1728 for its architectural beauty, we aimed to contrast the venue’s neutral tones with vivid, striking styling. Vibrant yellow, seasonal daffodils, and lemons infused brightness while varying the heights of vases and candles added a dynamic, contemporary touch reminiscent of Portuguese spring fields. Every detail was meticulously planned to create a cohesive and visually stunning shoot.
What details or elements make this shoot truly special?
Yellow is a trending colour, and we like to think we’ve contributed to its popularity. It’s bold and vibrant yet often overlooked by couples who are hesitant or lack inspiration. The contrast between Santa Clara’s neutral tones and our vibrant styling created a truly captivating look.

enhance the overall outcome of the shoot?
As a photographer, being able to capture a stylist’s vision is what makes an editorial stand out above others.
