Funnily enough, we went to the same high school and were in the same grade. Never spoke to each other though. We ended up going to the same University and had a mutual friend who liked to hang out with both of us, so our friendship and later relationship blossomed from there.
Tell us a little about yourselves, what you do, what you love…
Sarah — I used to work for Singapore Airlines and now Qantas. So I love to travel, clearly! Also, running and a little photography here and there and spending time with our mischievous Italian Greyhound, Loki.
Christopher — I’m a Project Manager in Engineering. I spend my time cycling, drinking coffee, travelling with Sarah (since she gets all the perks!) and some photography and videography on the side too.
When did you first realise that this was someone you’d like to spend the rest of your life with?
Sarah — I think it was about after 3 years of dating. I loved his personality and qualities.
Was there a proposal? Tell us a little about it…
Yes. We hiked up to our favourite spot in Wollongong which overlooks the seacliff bridge. I knew it was coming that day… Chris bought a shirt and wrote “Marry Me” on it in red text which he changed into once we reached the top of the hike
Tell us about the vision you had for the mood or style of your wedding…
Sarah – I wanted it to have that rustic feel, which I feel we achieved through the choice of florals and the way we set up our marquee.
