She is a piece of art, beautifully refined. She is an eternal flash of light, irreplaceable – one in a million.

She is folded in the suns and moons, she is both light and shade. She is equally peaceful and passionate, feminine and romantic. She has no problem finding the light. You can imitate her light, but you cannot become it.

Art Direction and Venue styling by George & Smee drew inspiration from art and natural surroundings. They incorporated natural colours and textures of different grasses, leaves and dried flowers to create sculptural botanic installations for the tables and venue. The shoot took place at Porteno Events Space in Surry Hills, which is gorgeously light filled. The perfect backdrop to George & Smee’s overgrown wild setting which was kept fresh and crisp by incorporating the floor tones within the floral installation.

“The look offers so much more than a traditional arch and aisle set up. It is a modern take on the white on white trend.” Says George from George & Smee

Namibian born model Vakoo Kauapirura, who will star in the new season of The Bachelor, looked effortless in a dress by Sant Elia. The Future Mrs stylist, Lydia Jane-Saunders chose the dress for its simplicity and textured bodice which echoed the florals.

The Future Mrs hair and makeup artist Vic Anderson enhanced Vakoo’s naturally radiant skin by using L’Oreal True Match foundation as a base with Charlotte tilbury Magic Away concealer. To pop Valook’s cheeks she smudged Stila convertible colour “Magnolia” with Luma Beauty Illuminating Highlighter in Golden Glow and eyes were enhanced with MAC Pro longwear paint pot “Constructivist”, Urban Decay Naked Heat palette, Marc Jacobs Highliner Gel Eye Crayon, Maybelline Volume Express Colossal Big Shot Mascara and Modelrock lashes. The look which was glowing and natural was finished with a swipe of Revolution Beauty Soph lipstick in “Fudge” across the lips.

Photographer Jason Corroto artfully captured all aspects of the styling and installations but also had some fun with Vakoo in nearby alley way showing off his versatility as a photographer.
