We went for a walk up Mt John, and when we got to the top, with panoramic views and no one else in sight, Brad got down on one knee with a ring he’d designed and a bottle of champagne.

The idea of spending the rest of our lives together goes without question.

About 2 minutes before he proposed, a bird flew over our balcony and pooped on my ring finger, so I’mgoing to take that as the ultimate sign of good luck for our marriage!

I popped a bottle of champagne and proposed that night, on top of the hill, just the two of us as the sun was setting.

Fast forward again to 2023, and this is where he surprised me with a proposal here.

When we woke up, he pulled out the ring and asked me to marry him!
