The Art of Destination Love
Today, we’re thrilled to share a stunning editorial inspiration all the way from Lefkara, Cyprus. Destination weddings continue to rise in popularity, and at Together Journal, we adore celebrations that focus on love, togetherness, and cherished moments with friends and family.
We love the vision behind this shoot—bringing all the festivities to an intimate boutique location like the Agora Hotel, where guests and the bridal party can truly relax, unwind, and connect. A weekend of celebrations is a beautiful experience, offering your guests both a holiday and a wedding in one.

Inspired by the warmth and glamorous nostalgia of bygone eras, we set out to craft the story of an indulgent wedding weekend—one that transcended aesthetics to cultivate genuine connection and celebration. Through intentional styling and immersive ambience, we invited our participants into an experience of true closeness, togetherness, and belonging—one that was felt, not just seen.
At the heart of the shoot was the idea of connection—not just between the couple but among everyone present, echoing a core value of the photographer. We brought together strangers through a shared experience, fostering a sense of community, a principle central to The Agora. Through thoughtful styling and immersive ambience, we cultivated an atmosphere of festivity, a signature of Allegory Events, ensuring the celebration felt authentic and alive.
We designed three separate events, each with its own character and styling.
The welcome party unfolded in timeless black-and-white styling, with live jazz melodies drifting around the pool. We curated a moment of intimacy, touch, and romance—dancing in the bar before moving poolside, where cocktails, laughter, and the rhythm of jazz carried the night.
The wedding day embraced a palette of French Riviera hues, perfectly complementing the bold stripes of the central Agora atrium, accented with metallic touches. The meal reflected The Agora’s signature style—an intimate feast of shared plates.
The celebration continued with a vibrant poolside gathering, where vivid colours, statement headwear, and distinctive jewellery set the tone. Inspired by the era and artistry of Slim Aarons, we captured a scene of pure joy, effortless glamour, and the exuberance of a sun-drenched morning by the pool.
