Maggie & Philip: A Celebration Rooted in Storytelling
For their very first date, Maggie and Philip visited a tomato exhibition, a fitting beginning given that Philip’s university research focused entirely on tomatoes. When they chose Italy as their wedding destination, a country boasting over sixty to seventy distinct tomato varieties, it became clear that we had to introduce their guests to the exceptional flavours of local heirloom tomatoes, the pure, unmodified heritage varieties.
The narrative unfolded seamlessly, beginning with the meticulous selection and colour transition of the floral arrangements at the ceremony area. It then moved into the cocktail hour, which featured a curated tasting station showcasing nine distinct varieties of heirloom tomatoes, paired with an artisanal mozzarella-and-bread bar. Guests were also treated to two bespoke, tomato-infused signature cocktails, elevating a simple ingredient into a sophisticated culinary experience.
