A New Era for New Zealand Fashion Unfolds
Auckland, NZ – New Zealand Fashion Week presented by Giltrap Group (NZFW) has unveiled the official 2025 programme, and at Together Journal, we’re eagerly anticipating what promises to be one of the most exciting and accessible iterations of the event yet. Running from August 25 to 30, the schedule showcases a compelling mix of heritage designers and emerging voices, with a growing number of off-site events broadening the reach of the week beyond the traditional fashion sphere.

As a publication that celebrates elevated style and considered dressing, we’ll be keeping a particularly close eye on the occasion looks, those standout silhouettes, refined tailoring and directional ensembles designed for life’s more polished moments.

NZFW continues to be a place where fashion meets art, and this year, we expect to see occasionwear reimagined with a modern, wearable edge. There’s plenty to be excited about. Juliette Hogan will open the week’s designer show schedule, while Karen Walker makes a long-awaited return to the runway after more than 15 years. It’s a thrill to see these iconic names back in the spotlight.
