Created by some of the Hawke’s Bay most talented vendors, this bright and ethereal styled shoot shows that you can have an intimate reception that still feels special and sophisticated.
With the Flagship ‘Carolina’ marquee and the luxury white hardwood flooring, this was a beautiful blank canvas to create something special. Drawing inspiration from bright colours, florist Botanical Lane created a colourful statement floral piece that wraps itself around the centre pole and spills out onto the tables.
The Carolina centre pole reaches up to 6m in height so it has an open cathedral feel when inside. The genuine sailcloth canopy is translucent in light, creating dappled shade as you look up, complemented by the solid wooden poles. We wanted to create an elegant, luxury setting with colour from the blooms. The setting at Black Barn Vineyards was the perfect, peaceful site surrounded by tall beautiful trees. Miss Frou Frou styled the tablescape adding Le Mond crystal candle holders, light grey textured dinnerware, Italian ribbed glass range, brushed silver cutlery, grey napkin with an emerald velvet bow.
The table decor all sat beautifully around the Flagship designed tables and chairs, sustainably sourced solid teak new range. With the clear sidewalls of the marquee rolled up, the feeling inside with the breeze coming in was really special. It was a light, natural space that felt just right.
This look can be achieved anywhere and we were lucky enough to pull together some top talented Hawke’s Bay vendors that all service nationwide. We wanted to show that you can create beauty and sophistication when choosing an intimate reception and Heather Liddell captured the feeling and setting perfectly.
