Created for the Swan Valley Wedding Open Day 2026, this editorial at Balmain Estate was conceived to showcase the venue’s remarkable versatility through four distinct spaces, each offering its own atmosphere, aesthetic, and point of view. Styled and coordinated by Confetti & Co and captured by photographer Norman Yap, the shoot was grounded in thoughtful design, beautiful natural light, and a creative vision that presented the estate through a sophisticated editorial lens.
The principal reception setting embraced a moodier aesthetic, where black accents and rich burgundy tones introduced a contemporary gothic sensibility. Statement florals, dramatic draping, and considered tablescapes created a setting that felt both refined and impactful. Floral design focused on sculptural forms, layered textures, and tonal depth, resulting in arrangements that balanced romance with a modern edge. The overall effect was striking yet elegant, appealing to couples seeking a celebration that feels distinctive and unexpected.
In contrast, a second reception space offered a vibrant expression of joy, pairing bright pinks and sunshine yellows with contemporary styling details to create an atmosphere full of energy and personality. Outdoors, a vineyard setting provided a softer counterpoint. Bathed in natural light and framed by the surrounding landscape, the space embraced an effortless sense of romance, allowing the beauty of the estate itself to become part of the design story.
