Being a lover of using foraged and dried flora I knew I had to incorporate these elements into my design for the Together Journal VIP room in Queenstown for Wild Hearts 2017.
The Winehouse holds an elegant yesteryear charm, so I knew I had to create a harmonious balance within the space. It wasn’t until the day did I know exactly how it would all come together, I think when you just trust your intuition and ad-lib on the day is when you create masterpieces. Using a variety of beech, garrya, phylica, roses, stag horn sumac and other foraged delights, my floral artworks came to life.
