We met briefly through a mutual friend when Ed was visiting Wellington one weekend. We didn’t speak or meet again until several years later…on day 1 of the university semester when we found each other in the foyer – it was a Chick Flick moment! Although our concentration on our classes wasn’t the best that semester, the romance bloomed and we’ve been inseparable ever since.

Little did we know that we would get stuck in Thailand, sleep on an airport floor for a week and end up being stranded in Australia for three months!
