Città is welcoming the warmer weather ahead with a preview of their new SS2021 collection. The latest textile collection is inspired by colour and the role it plays in our everyday lives. We think its the perfect collection to brighten up your home (and lockdown mood) and selected pieces will be available in store (in Level 2) and online from Friday the 15th.

When designing the collection, Città’s in-house textile designers Imogen Tunnicliffe and Sophie Clapson were drawn to colour and the emotive response it can evoke. Keep reading below to start planning your spring home update…

The SS2021 collection further adds colour and texture to all spaces of the home. For the bedroom, there’s relaxed linen duvet covers and lightweight bedspreads. Living areas can be adorned with seasonal cushion covers, throws, and woven baskets. For the bathroom, you’ll discover vibrant wash bags and beautifully textured towels.

“We explored the infinite aspects of colour, the designs expose the variation and potential of tone, mass, combination, and composition.” – Città Head of Textile Design, Imogen Tunnicliffe.

Throughout the pieces, bold hues are complemented with the more subtle and Città continues to focus on the use of natural materials with linen, cotton, wool, jute, and seagrass throughout the collection.

The collection also includes some new non-textile items perfect for adding to your home styling, from modern book ends to gorgeously sanded wooden boards, planters and occasional chairs.

“Harmonious unions exist next to contrasting combinations and result in united, yet unexpected, designs,” – Città Head of Textile Design, Imogen Tunnicliffe.

Here at Together Journal, we can’t wait to spend summer days relaxing at home in Città’s linen loungewear and at the beach with a carry-all market bag toting a happily coloured beach towel and the latest issue of TJ!

A selection of designs from the SS 2021 collection will be available in Città retail stores (level 2 locations) and online HERE from Friday, October 15.
