Luxe Minimalism Italian Styled Shoot

Between the quaint trulli, ancient olive groves, blue sea, and the beautiful limestone covered little towns, emerges a lesser known side of the region of Puglia – one that celebrates modern Mediterranean architecture, relaxed minimalism, and laid-back luxury.

This luxe minimalism styled shoot showcases these unique aspects of Puglia and captures the architecture and styling guided by the organic clean lines found in the venue and the crown jewels of an Apulian summer experience – delicious food and breathtaking views. A light and airy style showcases the contrast between the architecture and unique styling.

The venue is a true hidden gem of the Apulian countryside that celebrates history by complementing it with minimalist design. The beauty in it’s simplicity, understated architecture and whitewashed walls serve as an offset for contemporary styling.

In addition to the architectural, modern aesthetic prevalent in the shoot, is the motif of the sea – from the colour palette, octopus detail seen on stationery and the cake to the arts de la table mimicking the organic shape of wild pearls.

The contemporary floral design style, proves that opting for less does not take away from the romantic feel. Instead, it adds relaxed, almost nonchalant elegance that beautifully contrasts with the minimalist architecture.

This shoot is the team’s effort to show a different take on weddings in the south of Italy – intimate, editorial-style celebrations where quality reigns over quantity with considered elegance and a chic yet laid-back luxury feel.

We, at Together Journal think this shoot highlights just that – and with more intimate celebrations on the rise, it provides the perfect inspiration for creating gorgeous, well-thought out events with a considered focus on quality rather than quantity.
