60’s glam took the streets of Place de la Concorde, accompanied by romantic hues from the dusky blush sky. Creative and photographer Alia Paienda shared with Together Journal her intimate Parisian styled shoot.
This inspiration behind this shoot was to convey a contemporary, cinematographic and poetic atmosphere, with the freedom of experiencing a lovers walk in Paris, known as the “city of lights”. Keep reading below for more European destination inspiration…
Photographer Alia, had followed real life couple Nicolas and Marie through their own wedding day and was inspired to give them a full glitter set up for their post-wedding celebration shoot. Adding in elements of the 60’s period in France and actresses and iconic characters such as Brigitte Bardot and Catherine Deneuve… with their curly blond hair, short dresses, and headbands.
And what better place than Place de la Concorde, next to the Tuileries gardens, reflecting the glittering dress Marie was wearing and the twinkling lights along the historical buildings during sunset.
This styled shoot goes against-the-grain, elegantly showcasing how to pull off noir wedding glam! With a gorgeous open-back mini dress, we think this would be a great option with modern florals for an intimate evening wedding or reception.

We love Maria’s jewellery from Lunel Joaillier, featuring a unique structure and bold pearls, timeless pieces perfect for the modern bride.
