Chaos & Harmony has been putting its best foot forward for over a decade now and has swiftly been crowned New Zealand’s go-to shoe label.

Season after season, the Kiwi atelier delivers affordable, made-to-last designs so good we build our outfits around them. Behind our unwavering love affair with the footwear extraordinaire? Founder and creative director Rebecca Anderson’s talent.

After learning the fine craft of footwear design at the Instituo Europeo di Design in Rome, Anderson returned to Mount Maunganui to launch Chaos & Harmony. Fast-forward 10 years and the boutique shoe company continues to deliver what women want: comfort, style and conversation-starting design.

With the weather changing and our wardrobe crying out for a revamp, Together Journal caught up with Anderson to find out what her favourite pieces are for autumn/winter 21.

Below, shop Chaos & Harmony’s best styles to date from the ultra-cosy ‘Sunny’ slippers we intend to live in to our very own editor Greta Kenyon’s latest addition to her wardrobe, the ‘Roller’ boots.

Champion Boot in Ecru

If, like us, you have a growing collection of black boots by the front door then maybe it’s time to switch things up for autumn/winter? Newcomer Champion is designed to entice you to try something a little different. A break from black, the ecru hue is a welcome change and will pair well with your go-to knit, jeans and trench. We particularly love the cowboy style block heel, it means they’ll work well into the warmer months.

Roller Boot

On the heels of the popular Halcyon, Chaos & Harmony’s Roller boots are sure to win over a whole new wave of fans. A similar style to its older sister, the Halcyon boasts a strong silhouette and chunky sole. The difference? This one is a lace up and sits higher up the leg making for an even more effortless look.

Together Journal’s founder and editor, Greta Kenyon, recently welcomed these to her wardrobe and can’t wait to tackle winter in style.

There’s nothing better than getting home after a long day and swapping your boots for a fluffy pair of trusty slippers. Those in need of an upgrade, look no further than the Sunny. As part of the Chaos & Harmony autumn/winter 21 collection ‘Higher Ground’, these will make a lovely Mother’s Day gift (just make sure to grab a pair for yourself, too).

Sunny Slippers in Charcoal

As though the vanilla Sunny slippers weren’t enough to make us excited for the colder months, Chaos & harmony has completely spoiled us with a second colourway: charcoal. We can’t decide between the two so may just have to make room for a second pair of slippers…
