A dynamic play between sophisticated European chic and refined modern elegance and design, beautifully captured by The Allegory.
A considered reimagining of timeless textures and spaces, dancing between old and new, presented in the hidden time capsule that is Kittyhawk – a Parisian inspired bar in the heart of Sydney. With its charming interior, the venue was the perfect location for the shoot.
The essence of the day was deeply inspired by the sharp Bowie Rae ensemble, innately a statement in itself, in contrast to the sculptural pleating of the Phoenix blazer, a raw edge veil. Finished with lace socks and clean lines of the Morimoto Victoria heel. Paired with the groom’s BELANCĒ suit and loafers – a balanced, contemporary take on classic luxury.
Make up artist Michal created a flawless, stripped back look to illuminate Jordy’s natural features. Choosing a bold wine-hued lip to compliment the decadent surroundings. Scott Sheehy opted for an effortlessly chic tousled wave to synergise with the garments for simplicity and elegance.
The styling presented a symmetry of both modernity and nostalgia. Libby from E Squared Design Co. opted for neutral, muted tones of slate and dove grey as a base palette, layering with crisp white and rich jewel tones across the botanical elements to create decadent depth and texture. Vintage silver, elevated paper goods and lucent glassware, interwoven with luxurious specimen florals and seasonal fruit curated in sculptural flourishes laid the length of the linen draped tablescape. Illuminated by candlelight, the lovers celebrate with an abundance of the finest Frerejean Frères champagne.
