The Art of Gathering

This editorial celebrates the art of gathering in a way that feels both elevated and attainable.

A reminder that true beauty is found in simplicity, craftsmanship, and a deep connection to nature.

It was nestled in the heart of the English countryside at Cornwell Manor in The Cotswolds. The team created a single long table set with a focus on natural textures, soft tones, and effortless refinement—an ode to British garden-style dining at its most timeless. The styling was intentionally pared back, allowing the surroundings to shine – we aimed to show how we can use the landscape for its natural abundance rather than having to fill tables with endless flowers, which kept sustainability at the heart of the shoot.

Ceramic plates sat atop woven rattan chargers, sculptural glassware caught the dappled afternoon light, and delicate floral arrangements—featuring ranunculus, sweet peas, and wild hedgerow blooms—added a touch of wild romance.

As soon as Emily saw the wild surroundings, it was instinctual to shoot in this space. It wasn’t the original setting but the whole team rolled with it and Senel created an incredible set up.
