ALICE + BEN by Beck Rocchi Photography

Tell us a little about yourselves, what you do, what you love, what is unique about you and your relationship:

It was a Tinderella love story. I met Ben while he was on his one week off work – he worked a FIFO job, with a roster that was 4 weeks on and 1 week off.

That’s how our relationship was for the first 2-3 years – long distance. Somehow we made it work and last. We just made the most of the one week off together. We like to take off and go travelling and exploring on some sort of adventure.

We’re complete opposites in most things. But that makes him the ying to my yang.

Tell us about your special day, was there a specific theme or style? Tell us a little about the setting, the styling and some of your favourite details:

We always wanted to elope. It was postponed because of covid, but as soon as we were able to again we booked it straight in.

We wanted a true Winter Byron themed wedding. Rustic flowers. Earthy tones. Kombi Van. Whites and neutrals.

What were some of the most memorable/unique moments from the day:

The funniest part of the day was when we almost got charged by the bulls on the farm. Luckily we got behind the gate in time!

Any advice for other couples planning to spend the rest of their lives together:

Love is a choice. And we choose each other every day. Have fun!
