Matt is a farmer and I’m an environmental planner. We both grew up in rural communities so it’s a strong part of our identities. We live on Matt’s family farm, which is almost 100 years old, with great friends and neighbours close by.
Stacey: I’m a marketing manager for a property company and Will is in finance. We live and work in central Auckland and have been together for over 13 years.
“I kept saying I love the moody winter vibes, and the day definitely provided! It rained from start to finish, and we loved every part of it! We had so much fun taking photos in the rain, having umbrellas break on us with strong gusts of wind, and almost getting stuck in the mud on multiple occasions. We love the funny memories we have about our perfectly imperfect day, and we wouldn’t change a thing!”

Liam is a commercial plumber and although studying graphic design and university, I currently work as a Pharmacy Assistant. We both love exploring small towns and their shops, we love looking through antique stores, finding hidden gem cafes and spending time with our two border collies. I (Ashleigh) love spending time in my garden at home and Liam loves his golf. We love nothing more than sitting back after a long week with Saturday night take-away and watching our favourite shows.
Our wedding ended up being all the things we hadn’t originally wanted – it was tiny, it was DIY, it was on a holiday weekend, and we even asked friends to bring their own beer.

Matt and I are quite similar with heaps of shared interests, particularly design. We both have architectural degrees and work for the same architecture firm in Wellington. I am baffled that we didn’t cross paths with each other at University, because we were in the same year group. We now work for the same architecture practice in Wellington. This is how we met… a workplace romance!
Married life hasn’t really changed us. We’ve been each other’s family for nearly a decade, so have found our groove. We know how lucky we are.

(Molly) My name is Molly and my husbands name is Matt. A bit about ourselves, we have been together for 3 years now. I am the head barista at an espresso bar on the Gold Coast, I have a love and passion for art as a side hobby.

I’m Sarah, a 30 year old Self-employed wedding and event Florist from Ireland. I am a mum of four beautiful girls, all under the age of 10, who I am insanely jealous of as I always wanted a sister but didn’t have one. They have 3 sisters each! No fair! They are my muse and inspiration; they are what drives me to do well in my business. As does my new Husband Tiarnán. It’s odd referring to ourselves as ‘newlyweds’ as we have basically been each other’s family since we started dating at the age of 16. Childhood sweethearts. Tiarnan is my person. He supports me in everything I do and is the best father to our girls.

CB – I am a university administrator and Louis works in the WA State Government, we have been together for 7 years in December. We have lived together for 6 years, we have a cat, we love travelling (when we can) and spending time with friends and family.
In keeping with Māori tradition, we gifted each of the groomsmen a pounamu (greenstone) ring which we had blessed. James wore a beautiful pounamu around his neck, which was given to him by his 91-year-old koro (grandfather), who blessed our wedding rings before we put them on.
