Drawing inspiration from the venue, Glen Lea Homestead, this styled shoot aims to create a dramatic and moody vibe through bold and bright florals.
Situated in the Adelaide Hills, Glen Lea Homestead is a private property and family-run venue that sits confidently around the top of the best the hills have to offer for a wedding venue.
With the aim of showing the depth and character of Glen Lea, other elements of the shoot were accordingly formed and a group of suppliers containing the best Adelaide has to offer for people getting married came together to create this beautiful styled shoot.
In order to create a dramatic and moody feel, the florals used had bold and bright aspects to them to give it contrast — something where each flower arrangement is completely different but also complimented each other in order to showcase and create unconventional florals that caught the eye.
Holding the ceremony on the lawns of the iconic frontage of the main homestead made for the perfect backdrop that accentuated the luxurious elements paired with the ceremony part of the shoot. This also lent itself as a really great contrast between the modern styling for the marbled table setting positioned in the shearing shed of the property. The bright colours contrasted beautifully against the darker tones of the wood.
The handmade wedding gowns from Greta Kate and Italian-made tailored suits from Oscar Hunt also brought with them an elegance fitting of the high-end multi-million dollar property.
