How To Eat A Peach

How To Eat A Peach takes inspiration from a book of the same title, exploring intimate gatherings and quiet moments.

The shoot creates an elegant pastoral aesthetic that evokes hazy summer evenings spent with family and friends and is set against the golden grassland meadows of Willow Marsh Farm, which drift gently towards the lake and woodland beyond. It is a celebration of simple, seasonal fare, intimate country gatherings and those rare, sun-filled English summer days.

The floral styling sits softly within the surrounding context as aisle arrangements blend into the long grass and compliment, rather than interrupt, the natural setting that provides the backdrop for the ceremony. Flowers cut directly from Elder & Wild’s cutting garden create pieces that capture the season as it was at that moment, adding texture, detail and delight to an otherwise simply styled gathering.

Old farm tables play host to a relaxed tablescape that was thoughtfully curated by Hire Twenty One to evoke long summer afternoons with close friends and family.

Layers of locally made ceramics are filled with simple and delicious sharing food; mascarpone drizzled in warm honey, ripe figs with local cheeses and freshly baked bread. Jars of seasonal flowers sit between elegant textured glassware, in which cool champagne is served accompanied by summer peaches.

A minimal, elegant gown, made in-house by Nora Eve Bridal, perfectly suits the informal setting, with more detailed elements coming from the textural bouquet and detailing on the veil by Rebecca Anne Designs.

A soft, sky blue bow lends a playful element to the outfit later in the day. All perfectly captured by Daisy Price Photography.
