Mayfair London Elopement Editorial

A London affair – elopement in Mayfair

Taking place at The Maine in Mayfair, London, UK, and photographed exclusively on film by Sundari Photography, this editorial shoot celebrates the essence of intimate weddings with a stylish and joyous twist.

Elegance and authenticity were at the forefront of our vision, featuring two distinct bridal looks that seamlessly transition from ceremony to celebration. For the ceremony, the bride wore the elegant satin shift Wren dress by Savannah Miller paired with a handmade veil by Rozie Bride. Her look was completed with soft waves and statement earrings from Tilly Thomas Lux and handmade diamond rings by Rosie Clayden, adding a touch of timeless glamour. She carried a bouquet of pure tulips, enhancing the sophisticated simplicity of the ensemble.

As the evening unfolded, the bride transformed into a more relaxed and playful look with the Lana dress by Julita London. which featured long balloon sleeves, a gracefully flowing skirt, and a dramatic backless design. Jimena Lemck transformed the bride’s hair into a relaxed, messy low bun and added a bold lip to match the dress’s elegant yet daring style. The groom, looking dapper in a stylish tuxedo from Richard James, perfectly complemented the bride’s transformation from ceremony to celebration.

Always Andri’s design and styling incorporated neutral tones with shades of caramel and toffee, punctuated by pops of burgundy to harmonize with the sophisticated interiors of The Maine. The long dining table, adorned by Rosaria Flowers, boasted an abundance of tulips in blush and caramel shades, accompanied by fresh fruit and tall candles to create a warm, inviting atmosphere.

The design and styling by Always Andri incorporated neutral tones and shades of caramel and toffee, with pops of burgundy to harmonise with the luxurious surroundings of The Maine. Rosaria Flowers adorned the long dining table with an abundance of tulips in blush and caramel hues, interspersed with fresh fruit and tall candles, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The hand-drawn stationery by talented illustrator Imogen Partridge, including illustrated invitations and menus with modern brush calligraphy, added a personal and artistic touch to the setting. A single-tier heart-shaped cake with Lambeth icing from KKakes was cut by our real couple while they relaxed on a sofa with champagne coupes, embodying the charm and simplicity of intimate celebrations.

To emphasise the joyous nature of weddings, we included shots of the table “after dinner,” showcasing the remnants of the celebration with drinks enjoyed and cake savoured. These candid moments illustrate the true celebratory spirit of the occasion, highlighting that weddings are not just about the initial beauty but also about the shared joy and memories created.

This editorial aims to inspire couples to embrace the beauty and intimacy of smaller celebrations, demonstrating that elegance and joy can be beautifully intertwined in every detail.
