Our vision was all about ‘something blue’—inspired by friendship, cheerful garden parties, southern charm & blue hydrangea florals.
The Swan Coach House was the perfect location for our bridesmaid editorial, as it holds a special place in Atlanta’s history. Born from a vision shared by 12 women dedicated to promoting the arts, it was the ideal backdrop for capturing the essence of this beautiful shoot focused on friendship.
Our ‘Something Blue’ theme was brought to life through a mix-and-match collection of blue bridesmaid dresses from Revelry. We also incorporated blue into the tablescape, with the focal point being the elegant blue floral linens, complemented by hydrangea florals, adding a vibrant touch to the overall design. One of our favorite details was incorporating fresh blueberries into both the table setting and the cake design.
The inspiration for the bride’s makeup look was effortless soft glam—nothing too overdone, but still striking in photos. For the hair, we aimed for a bouncy blowout feel, with soft, voluminous curls that would naturally relax throughout the day, creating a beautiful, lived-in style. Anne Barge wedding dresses are known for their timeless elegance, luxurious fabrics, and sophisticated designs. This A-line gown features clean, classic lines with a modern twist, making it the perfect choice for our shoot.
We wanted to showcase various textures, patterns, and shades of blue with mix-and-match bridesmaid dresses because each person has their own style and personality. It’s amazing to see how confident everyone feels in their individual look. The bouquets were petite and made of all-white florals. They had a simple, whimsical vibe, perfect for a garden party atmosphere.
