This one comes from the soul. After you work with flowers long enough, you just instinctively know what flowers are going to work together and how to place them so they do. You get to know every flower in detail... not just as a flower or a colour.
Inspired by the "Golden Goddess" feel of these divine Bespoke Weavings, I wanted to play with textural whites, and caramel, warm-golden tones in a flowing feminine form.
Open natural looking blooms in muted tones of yellows, oranges, and browns. Evoking an organic, summery feel with a nod to the 70s and 80s in both the colour palette and the combination of blooms.

The aim of the event is to celebrate locally grown flowers and to highlight the importance of the industry’s contribution to culture and the economy and to encourage people to become more passionate than ever about local and seasonal flowers. We at Together Journal just love all things flowers and we fully support buying local and seasonal wherever possible, so we thought to help get work out we would show you some highlights from two of our favourite floral artists, and regular contributors who are involved in this week's festivities. Lu Diamond and Gypsy West created the beautiful arrangements you see below.
