When I arrived, the whole area was lit by candles and a bottle of Dom Perignon was chilling. I turned around and he was on one knee. I was so shocked! His parents were on FaceTime watching as well, which was so nice as they couldn’t be there.
Johnny let me sleep in and when I came downstairs, still half-asleep, I saw a garbage truck outside, picked up our son Mika and took him outside to watch. It wasn’t until the truck had passed that I looked down and noticed he was wearing a T-shirt saying “Mummy will you marry Daddy?”
We met in Europe on a Contiki Tour in 2012. I (ST) was travelling with a friend starting off in London when she dropped her passport without knowing. Josh being the gentleman he is picked up the passport off the ground and handed it back to my friend.

I (the Bride) am a Social Worker, and am currently working in the Disability Sector. I am an avid reader of all genres, but admittedly favour contemporary romances. My now Husband is an Architect, Soccer player, and makes mean cup of tea. We share a passion for Soccer, but mine ends at 2am, while Jacob’s continues at all hours if Liverpool are playing.

So, we’re both health pros (that’s what the cool kids call it), I’m a nurse and Chris is a Doctor – bit cute eh. We have been together for 7 years and felt like we hardly saw each other in the last 2 due to Chris’ studies, shift work, the pandemic and all that real fun stuff.
We knew we wanted something small and intimate in London with just 28 guests, so getting the right venue was really important. We wanted something that felt industrial but minimal in style so we could put our own stamp on it.

I (Rosie) work in publishing as a PR Manager for an internationally bestselling author. Jonny works for a genomics bio-tech start-up in Cambridge. We have a super simple life and love being with our friends, country walks with our beagle (Daisy), and seeing live music – most of our best memories are at music festivals especially Hurricane Festival in Germany and Glastonbury!

JW-Ivey and I live in Nashville, Tennessee. I produce music, she’s a photographer and videographer – so creating is central to who we are, both as individuals and as a couple. Ivey, for example, has this insane ability to create beautiful moments, beautiful memories. Before sitting down to eat our dinner of frozen pizza, she’ll light a candle and put on Etta James, and suddenly a memory is created out of what would otherwise be a forgettable moment. She’s good at that.

Claudia – We live in Christchurch and have a 2 year old son, Archer, and a Labradoodle, Beau. Jarod is in Real Estate and I do Social Media from home for my Dad’s business and also for Jarods Mum. It means I can do the majority of work from home, and go to the office when Archer is in pre school 2 days a week. We love to spend our weekends in Akaroa and both enjoy going out on fishing.
